Wildlife
Lady Musgrave Island is a haven for diverse wildlife. Its Pisonia forests and She-Oak and Pandanus trees host numerous bird species, including White Capped Noddy Terns, Bridled Terns, and migratory shorebirds like Ruddy Turnstone. The island is a key breeding ground for Black Noddy Terns and Wedge-tailed Shearwaters.
The surrounding waters are home to small white tip reef sharks, leopard sharks, and vibrant coral reefs, ideal for snorkelling. Additionally, the island is a crucial nesting site for Green and Loggerhead turtles, making it a must-visit for wildlife enthusiasts.

Birds
Lady Musgrave Island is part of the Capricorn Bunker Group of islands. These islands contain 73-75% of all seabird biomass of the entire Great Barrier Reef
Turtles
Marine turtles are often called the ancient mariners of the sea. They are believed to have been swimming in the sea for more than 150 million years, first appearing during the age of the dinosaurs.
Turtles have changed little over the millennia, now only coming ashore to lay eggs, producing another generation to swim the seas.
