• At 1770 Reef, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We actively encourage our passengers to adopt eco-friendly habits, such as bringing reusable water bottles and coffee cups on board. Additionally, we exclusively use biodegradable plates, cups, and utensils to minimize our environmental impact.

• All cans and bottles on board are collected and recycled through certified channels, reducing our carbon footprint. We also offer reef-safe sunscreen from Western Australia, educating passengers about the importance of protecting delicate ecosystems like the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

• Continual improvement is a key focus for us. We track our emissions and have implemented 4-stroke engines in our glass bottom boat to reduce emissions and pollution. Our sullage management practices are stringent, with detailed disposal records and responsible waste management collaborations.

• Through guided tours focused on reef conservation and environmental education, we empower our guests to make a positive impact. Additionally, we collect food scraps from our tours for local farm animals, further demonstrating our commitment to sustainability.
